This is the newest box from Latest in Beauty and this time they have teamed up with Glamour magazine to bring us a box of Summer must-haves. The box contains nine products that Glamour Beauty Director Alessandra Steinherr has picked out worth a total of £65, not bad for £14.95. So, let’s take a look at what’s in there.
This is a great shade of orange/coral that’s really easy to wear on fingers or toes. Suitable for any skintone this could easily be the shade of choice for anyone who isn’t feeling brave enough for the current neon trend.
Benefit Porefessional 7.5ml
The press and beauty blogs have all been raving about this product and I’m one of them. You can use it alone or under your foundation as a primer either way your skin will look better. Porefessional minimises the appearance of pores and helps hide blemishes, dark circles and uneven skintone. A little goes a long way with this product so this is a great size to try out.
This is a handbag and bathroom staple for me. It’s great for when your hair is looking a little flat and needs a kick and a bottle this size is great for the ‘work to pub’ preening.
This is a new product for me but I’m really impressed with it. Being a dry skin sufferer I use a lot of exfoliators and this one is on the favourites list already. My skin was left clean and smooth but I didn’t feel like I’d used sandpaper. I’ll be checking out some of their other products too.
Gel eyeliners are a recent addition to my make up bag but I don’t think I’ll ever go back. This one is a great shade, black with a gold shine, making it perfect for summer. The brush that comes with the liner is much softer than others I’ve tried too making it more comfortable to apply.
The pale pink coating on these tweezers makes them easy to grip and they do grab the hairs quite well too. There’s not much else I can say about these really, they’re tweezers.
Stila Lipglaze in Hibiscus
This is great rose coloured tint with a shine of gold to it all wrapped up in the iconic Stila pen-style packaging. I’ve written about these glazes before and I still like them. They last well, aren’t overly sticky and apply really easily thanks to the brush on the end of the pen.
A product that has been gracing the shelves for a while now Frizz-Ease is great. Applied to wet hair you can blow dry it straight or let it dry naturally for a curly look. If you suffer from frizzy hair, especially in the Summer, this should be your ‘go to’ product.
I have to say I’m not an eyelash person so writing about these is difficult. They look to be nice and ‘light’ though and would give a more natural look. I’ve been meaning to try out fake eyelashes for a while so I may give these a whirl some time soon.
