DHC are one of those brands that I’ve heard of but have never quite got round to trying out before. They hail from Japan but their products are available across the world and have a cult following, but what did I think?
To use it you apply straight to the face with dry hands and rub it all over to remove any make up, dirt or impurities. You then rinse it off with water and you’re all done, clean face!
It’s quite a light, thin oil that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin but it really does remove make up well. I, like half the planet, have been using a micellar water to remove my make up, but this is threatening that situation. I was really impressed by how it removed the make up, even my mascara, and it didn’t do that annoying thing of smearing it round your face first.
There isn’t really a scent to speak of just a light note of olive oil if you really concentrate, olive oil being the base to this product.
I cleansed and toned after I used this, but that was pretty much out of habit and I think I could easily have just gone straight for the toner.
I really recommend this oil, it removed everything well and didn’t leave my face feeling greasy.
