I’m loving Nailbox, a new monthly subscription beauty box that’s all about nails. I’ve previously reviewed the very first box and loved it so much I jumped at the chance to review another. The June box has four polishes and a cuticle pusher & nail cleaner tool. Click on any of the images to make them bigger
Essie – Status Symbol
This polish from Essie is a great fushia pink that will add a zing to any outfit and look great with a tan! I never used to be a fan of Essie, but the last few I’ve tried have been brilliant and now I’m a convert!
Rimmel 60 Seconds – Lucky Lilac
Despite being called ‘lilac’ this is actually a bright summery shade of pinky-purple…neon lilac? Confusing name aside I really like this shade, and the 60 Seconds range, and shall be trying it out in an ombre or watermarble with the Essie shade above. I’ll put all results on my Instagram feed!
Nicole by OPI – Alex by the Books (Modern Family range)
This polish from OPI is such a perfect summery ice-cream shade; it just reminds me of mint choc chip! This is the first polish I’ve tried from the Nicole by OPI range and I felt it applied well and easily. The pigment was great too and only needed two coats to give a good solid finish.
ORLY Color Blast Chunky Glitter Fiery Orange
This orange glitter polish from ORLY wasn’t one of my favourites at first, but since the swatch photo I put over a coat of Barry M Plumpy Topcoat and it looks much better. Some people like the texture that glitter polishes give, but I prefer a smoother finish. That aside this polish applied with a generous and even distribution of the glitter particles and a good shade of the orange base colour too.
Elegant Touch 2 in 1 tool
One of the things I love about Nailbox boxes are the tools that you get. I love polish, but it’s also important to look after your nails and hands and these items help you to do that.
this tool is great for pushing down cuticles, byt also for cleaning the nails and tidying around them. I can’t stop using this and the quality of it makes it feel like it will last a long time. Love it!
You can subscribe to Nailbox from £13.50 a month and only committing for as long as you want.
