Moringa and Fruit Superfood Smoothie Recipe

I really need more fruit and veg in my diet, I’m currently one of those people that class crisps as a major foodgroup. I’ve recently dug out my blender and rediscovered the joys of smoothies and thought I’d share this recipe with you all as it tasted much better than I thought it would.

First off though I want to tell you more about Moringa; what is it and what does it do?

The Moringa tree (Moringa olifeira been prized for its medicinal properties for hundreds of years in its native lands of Africa and Asia. The tree itself is also drought-resistant and each part has different use; bark, roots, flowers and leaves. The leaves have an incredibly high nutrient density and this is the part of the tree that goes into the 100% organic Aduna Moringa Powder.

Fruit and Superfood Smoothie

1 banana
10 raspberries
5 strawberries
10-12 blueberries
Moringa powder

Chop up the strawberries and banana. Add all the fruit to the blender with the Moringa powder. Blitz until smooth, add a splash of water or orange juice if you like your smoothies a little thinner. Pour into glass and add a sprinkle of powder to the top to serve.
