It’s all going on at Boxpark

The world’s first pop-up shopping mall at Shoreditch, BOXPARK, always has something going on. If you aren’t familiar with BOXPARK it’s a shopping mall made from shipping crates situated right at the side of Shoreditch Overground station. It houses both famous and upcoming names and there’s always something to take your fancy. The stores aren’t always permanent either, so it’s worth popping along to see what’s popped up 😀

From April 1st footwear range Solillas will be bringing the Balearic islands to BOXPARK. Their brightly coloured and beautifully printed sandals are sure to catch your eye and brighten up any summer outfit!

GAP have teamed up with various creative talents, such as Theophilis London, Anna Calvi, Julia Garner and Lina Scheynius, and set up in one of the units at BOXPARK for three months to showcase their #LivedIn concept. Whilst this is a visual campaign it is also coming to life as a concept store with pieces being available to buy. The store will receive makeovers on a monthly basis, so make sure you head there asap and grab those pieces before they vanish!

Sometime’s visiting brands to BOXPARK just love it so much they want to stay and that’s just what happened with PLAYN Eyewear. PLAYN are making their return to BOXPARK and this time they’re staying put!

“Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response to our previous pop-ups we’re now returning to Boxpark with a permanent PLAYN Eyewear showroom. We’re super excited to be back and have even more style and quality ready for Shoreditch.” Lisa, PLAYN UK Ambassador

You head along to the store for either prescription glasses or custom sunglasses and decide on your look from the frames and customisable options available. The glasses are then made in Bangkok and shipped directly to you. The ‘Factory > Lab > Doorstep’ process cuts down on the carbon footprint and expenditure and means PLAYN has a bigger budget to produce quality, premium lenses! Woop! If that wasn’t enough a tree is planted for every pair of glasses sold!

For more information check the brands’ websites or head to to find out about any pop-up shops, events, resturants or opening times.
